ADL Chair, NATO School Oberammergau

Ms. Tanja Geiss is the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Chair at NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany (NSO). Her roles include the management of NATO School’s ADL programme and the implementation of eLearning within the NSO curricula as well as training on best practices for ADL. Additionally, Ms. Geiss is engaged in the development of ADL courseware and responsible for the strategic outreach to other NSO major eLearning partners as well as establishing partnerships with other NATO / PfP ADL Teams. Besides her daily duties as ADL Chair and Course Director for the NSO eLearning Instructional Design Course (M7-126), Ms. Geiss lectures regularly on other NSO courses. Also, she has been engaged in the PfP Consortium ADL Working Group and the Education Development Working Group for many years. Ms. Geiss holds a Magister Artium (M.A.) from Ludwig-Maximillian’s University, München, in Political Science and International Relations, History and Marketing Psychology. She also studied Andragogy at the Hochschule für Philosophie, München.
