Robert Dunn, Ph.D., received his degree in Instructional Technology from the University of Central Florida, where he specialized in Scenario-Based Training (SBT). He has conducted Department of Defense training system Front-End Analyses; training simulator Verification and Validations; Job Duty Task Analyses; Training Effectiveness Evaluations; Live, Virtual, Constructive system-of-systems assessments for the Marine Corps Systems Command, United States Marine Corps (USMC) Training and Education Command, USMC Program Manager for Training Systems, and Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division; and has consulted to the Army Research Lab. His work subjects have included amphibious and ground, rotary and fixed-wing, and above and below-wave combat vehicles and warships. He has won the best-of-category papers at ModSim, and the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference. He is an expert on computationally defining scenario complexity to automate and adapt SBT to effectively and efficiently train to readiness. Currently, he works for A. Harold and Associates, LLC.
