If you are using Internet Explorer 9 (Internet Explorer 10 is not supported):

Some users have noted that using Chrome has also resolved the Compatibility issue.
Please take a couple of minutes to make the following changes; these should fix most of the tracking and session timeout problems.
1) Select Tools, or if not available ->right click top of border to select Menu bar.
2) Select Tools on Internet Explorer ->Select Compatibility View Settings -> Check "Display all websites in Compatibility View".
3) Alternatively you can add to your list of compatibility view sites.

Session Reminder:
For Session Reminder Notifications: While in ILIAS’ Personal Desktop: Select Settings Check Session-Reminder Set Leadtime to 5 Then save
